Tampines Walking & Cycling Town
Cycling network in Tampines will be tripled from 6.9km to 21km by 2022. The new cycling network will provide better connectivity for residents in Tampines, Tampines East and Tampines West. Wider footpaths, barrier-free ramps and re-designed roads with speed-calming measures will be part of the enhancement for the new cycling network to provide better safety and more convenient for pedestrian. The new cycling network will include trunk cycling routes to connect Tampines and neighbouring towns such as Pasir Ris and Simei, as well as to the Changi Business Park and Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Future residents of Tenet is expected to enjoy better connectivity and convenience living in Tampines town.
